𝐑𝐞𝐞𝐟 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 is seeking a 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐫 to join our team and work on Fable Town, our casual merge-3 mobile game.
In this role, you will design the core game progression and LiveOps events, creating engaging experiences that retain millions of players.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: Build and configure new levels using the internal editor; work with configuration tables to define difficulty curves and pacing; design tutorials and cutscenes.
- 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐎𝐩𝐬 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Develop themed event levels; iterate and balance them based on analytics, playtests, and player feedback.
- 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Discuss mechanics with game designers; prepare clear briefs for artists and oversee quality control.
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
- 1+ year of experience as a Level Designer or Game Designer.
- Solid understanding of mobile F2P level design principles: difficulty curves, retention strategies, and player onboarding.
- Strong attention to detail, persistence, and systematic thinking.
- English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞:
- Experience in merge-3, match-3, or puzzle genres.
- Previous work on LiveOps events.
- Familiarity with Unity (scene setup, prefabs).
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN).
